Davis Turns 1!!

I haven't had the time yet for his official 1-year portraits (he only turned 1 a week ago), but they are coming. We did have the opportunity to celebrate the special day with our beautiful baby boy. He gave us quite a scare at first, with 2 hospital visits after birth (over Christmas and New Years last year - not the best way to spend the holidays...), but he is strong and smiley these days! We are so blessed to have him as a part of our family. We love you, SMILEY!! Happy Birthday, sweet baby boy!

Fun With TWO!!

My dear friend and client, Carla, brought the twins over last week for their 1-year portrait. Hers are the same ages as mine --- plus 1 kid ---- whoa!!....

Charlotte and Gracie are best buddies, and Samantha and Anna were born one week before Davis. When I think my life is crazy and want to feel sorry for myself, I remember sweet Carla and the fact that she is even busier and crazier at any given time. Happy Birthday Sammy and Anna!!

Krazy Khain...

Wow, I really was proud of myself for setting up a blog, what, 6 weeks ago?? With one post??

Though I have been shooting nonstop, you'd think I was pretty slow. Exactly the opposite is true -- I CAN'T keep up with my life at all. Why?? Two little beans, that's why. Having a 12mo.-old and an almost 3-year-old is tough on you when it comes to time management. Throw in a real job, and the blog goes by the wayside. So --- time to catch up with some of my favorite clients, and my precious kiddos....

And we begin!

Khain came quietly to my studio and wasn't thrilled about the "senior portrait" thing, but his sweet side, and boy/manish good looks quickly took center stage. His mama sure is proud of him!! What a cutie! I learned that senior portraits are something I can do just fine --- he was my first one. I am so used to families, little tykes, and weddings, that I have left this area alone. Next year I plan to do lots more. Thanks, Khain, for your patience, professionalism, and sweet, sly smile.

Here we go...

So, here we are. I have created a blog.

I figured that folks  on facebook could be sick and tired of looking at thousands of pictures of my little ones and hearing that I have The Fresh Beat Band on my workout playlist.... this way those who are interested will have a place to go. I love taking pics of those precious little Waters babies. They are yummy!!

How sweet do they look on their new swingset? Daddy and Pops put it together for them piece by piece. Gracie loves to push baby brother and he can sit in that swing for hours!!

I am so lucky that this fall has been really busy with portraits! It is hard to juggle the kids, pharmaceutical sales, and editing, but I am very thankful for the business and the relationships! I hope to get some of my recent sessions on the blog once I figure out how this stuff works.... thanks to everyone for their support. :)
